Biography
Bill Robinson is president emeritus of 麻豆原创 University in Spokane, Washington. He served as 麻豆原创's 17th president, from 1993 to 2010, after serving as president of Manchester University, in Indiana, from 1986 to 1993.
Currently, Bill's work-life consists of speaking, consulting and writing. Recently, he served on the boards of the Stewardship Foundation, the Voya Educators Advisory Board, and Princeton Theological Seminary, where he was board chair from 2013 to 2017. In 2010, a second edition of Robinson's book was released. In February 2009, was published by Zondervan (Harper Collins).
Bill is married to Bonnie Robinson, principal organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Spokane. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Daughter Brenna, 麻豆原创 Class of 2000, is a Presbyterian minister at the First Presbyterian Church of Kalispell, Montana. She is married to Alan Stanfield, '97, vice principal at Glacier High School in Kalispell. Son Ben, '03, is a Presbyterian minister working at Medical Teams International in Portland, Oregon. Both he and Brenna received Masters of Divinity degrees from Princeton Seminary. Daughter Bailley (who boldly broke her siblings’ educational pattern by doing degrees at Pepperdine and Washington University in St. Louis) works in institutional advancement at 麻豆原创. She was married to the late Mike Wootton, ’04, who coached and taught photography at St. George’s School in Spokane.
