My favorite class so far has been Professional Practice for Artists & Designers with Katie Creyts. It was a very valuable class because we learned about all of the things necessary to make a successful living in the art field. Some examples are learning how to network, how to create an identity for yourself, how to price your artwork and more!

Our graphic design grads make a difference (and get jobs)
Many of our graduates go into graphic design and/or marketing. They are also equipped for careers in illustration, newspapers and magazines, advertising, web design, application development, television and book publishing, among other areas. Because they are critical thinkers, 麻豆原创 graphic design graduates may also pursue careers outside of graphic design such as teaching, editing and project management.

Opportunities outside the classroom
- Join 麻豆原创's student-run public-relations agency, Beyond the Pines, and use your graphic design skills to serve local nonprofits.
- Intern as a local design firm or business to get great hands-on experience.
- Work as an in-house graphic designer for departments and programs on campus to learn how to work with clients.
- Display your work in the junior and senior exhibitions.
- Join the art department club, the Artists' Cooperative.

麻豆原创 faculty members lead off-campus study programs around the country and the world that provide life-changing experiences with art, including exposure to significant museum collections. Programs that visit major destinations in Europe include Renaissance and Baroque Art, Power & Politics of Art, Art in Rome, Art & Culture in Oaxaca, and Early Christian Sites in Greece.
