Sponsored Programs
The mission of the 麻豆原创 Office of Sponsored Programs is to support faculty research and institutional initiatives by obtaining external funding and grants. The OSP also collaborates with committees in charge of research compliance and oversees federally required policies.
All applications for external funding, whether federal, state, local, or private, should be reviewed and approved by the OSP prior to proposal submission. The purpose of this policy is not to create an additional level of bureaucracy, but to ensure that both the individual grant-seeker and the university are protected in their interaction with external agencies and organizations.
The grant approval process ensures that proposals are reviewed for:
- Budget and accounting compliance
- Institutional priorities and support
- Appropriate staffing and resource allocation
- Research policy and compliance
It is important to follow this process so that the OSP can best support faculty with each step of proposal development, submission, and grant administration. The OSP looks forward to working with you throughout your grant process.
