Welcome to the 麻豆原创 Family

Prepare to be a Pirate!

We can't wait for you to become a Pirate this fall. Use this page and the International Student Checklist to stay on track before you arrive to campus.

For students who enroll after checklist item deadlines, please complete those items as soon as possible, and at the very latest, before you arrive to campus in the fall.

International Student Checklist 2026

ACADEMICS AND IMMIGRATION

  • Fill out the Academic Interest Survey in late May to get registered for classes.
  • View your class schedule in in late July.
  • Order final official transcripts and final exam or national exam results. Have your school send them to 麻豆原创 via email at wuintladmissions@whitworth.edu.
  • Apply for your U.S. visa and email our office at wuintladmissions@whitworth.edu when you have received it.

HOUSING

  • Submit your Housing Preference Form or Housing Waiver Request – due May 18.
    • Students (including transfer students) are required to if it has been less than two years since their high school graduation.
    • Receive your campus housing and roommate assignment via email in mid-June.
    • Review what to bring when you move to campus.

BILLING

  • Receive and review the Billing & Payment Guide in late June, and prepare to pay your bill.
  • View your bill on in early July.
  • Make your first required payment of $4,000 on your fall semester balance – due July 16.
  • Have plans in place to pay the remainder of your fall semester balance – due Aug. 14.

HEALTH FORMS

FINAL DETAILS

  • Make travel plans to arrive in Spokane on Aug. 23-24 for International Pre-Orientation.
  • Register for New Student Orientation via the link sent to your email in August.
  • Look up and order your for fall semester in August.
  • Optional: , our student employment portal, to see fall student employment opportunities posted during Orientation Week. Information about accessing Handshake will be sent to students in August.

  • International Pre-Orientation: Aug. 25-29, 2025
  • New Student Orientation: Sept. 5-8, 2026
  • Classes Begin: Sept. 9, 2026

*If students have already purchased airfare for arrival on an earlier date, please notify the international admissions staff at wuintladmissions@whitworth.edu.
